About the role:
As Events Specialist, you will plan, coordinate and deliver a range of in-person and digital events for Deaf Connect. You will work with the Community Engagement Manager, local staff and cross-functional teams to build event plans, manage logistics, coordinate stakeholders, track progress and support high-quality events that are inclusive, accessible and aligned to organisational goals.
Main responsibilities of the role include:

Lead the planning and delivery of key internal and external events, including event schedules, budgets, logistics, risk management plans, guest lists and stakeholder consultations.

Coordinate operational requirements such as venues, catering, floor plans, supplier quotes, accessibility considerations, travel, accommodation and pre- and post-event briefings.

Support local staff across states with templates, procedures, progress tracking, reporting and guidance to ensure events are delivered consistently and effectively.
