About the role:
As a Customer Bookings Officer, you will coordinate interpreter bookings and provide exceptional customer service to clients, interpreters, and stakeholders. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where your organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills will help ensure interpreting services are delivered efficiently and professionally.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Coordinate interpreter bookings using the electronic scheduling system.
- Respond to phone, email and online booking requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Liaise with customers and interpreters to optimise scheduling and service delivery.
- Provide information and guidance to new clients about interpreter booking processes.
- Complete booking administration and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with customer feedback, complaints and incident management.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities, training and team meetings.
- Participate in an on-call roster for emergency interpreting requests.
