Clinical Manager – Allied Health
Shape clinical excellence across a growing multidisciplinary allied health service
Deaf Connect is seeking an experienced Allied Health clinician to provide clinical leadership and governance across our Therapy and Family Services team.
This is a clinical leadership role with no direct reports. Your focus is clinical quality, governance and developing clinicians—not day-to-day operational or people management.
You'll influence multidisciplinary practice, strengthen clinical capability and help shape the future of our growing services while remaining connected to clinical work.
About the role:
Reporting to the General Manager, Therapy and Family Services, you'll work alongside operational leaders to embed safe, consistent and evidence-based clinical practice.
You'll:
- Lead clinical governance, practice standards and models of care
- Provide expert guidance on complex clinical matters and clinical risk
- Deliver clinical supervision, mentoring and reflective practice
- Build capability across our multidisciplinary Allied Health team
- Facilitate case reviews and clinical learning
- Monitor clinical quality, compliance and emerging risks
- Drive quality improvement and service innovation
- Maintain an active clinical caseload and model evidence-based, family-centred practice
About you:
You're an experienced Allied Health clinician passionate about clinical excellence and helping other clinicians grow.
You must hold a recognised Allied Health qualification and relevant professional registration or membership for your discipline.
You'll also bring:
- Significant clinical experience, including complex presentations
- Clinical supervision, mentoring or clinical leadership experience
- Strong clinical governance and risk management knowledge
- Experience supporting multidisciplinary Allied Health teams
- Strong clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice capability
- Experience in NDIS and/or government-funded services
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience developing clinical frameworks or models of care, and an understanding of Deaf culture, Auslan or culturally responsive practice, will be highly regarded
