Location:  Parramatta, NSW 

Pay:  $40.49 to $43.42 p/hour + salary packaging + 12 % super

About the role: 

We have a permanent, part time (0.8 FTE) Support Coordinator position available. You'll work closely with NDIS participants to help them understand, manage and get the most from their NDIS plans. And support people to achieve their goals, connect with services, build community networks and increase their independence. 

This is a rewarding role where you'll build strong relationships with participants, families, service providers and the broader community. 

Main responsibilities of the role include:  

  • Supporting participants to understand and implement their NDIS plans  

  • Coordinating services and connecting participants with the right supports 

  • Helping participants work towards their goals and build independence  

  • Building strong relationships with service providers and community organisations  

  • Maintaining client records, reports and case notes  

  • Monitoring budgets and ensuring supports are delivered effectively  

  • Participating in community engagement and networking opportunities 

About you: 

In your application, let us know if you have these key skills and experience:  

  • Experience in Support Coordination, disability services or a similar role 

  • Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission and the disability sector  

  • Understanding of Deaf culture and the Deaf community 

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills  

  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities  

  • A commitment to delivering person-centred, high-quality supports  

  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and online systems 

  • Current driver's licence and willingness to travel as required 

You should also let us know if you have these other great skills:  

  • Fluency in Auslan  

  • Certificate IV in Disability Services or a related qualification  

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one)
