About the role:

As a Contact Centre Officer, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional customer service while supporting Deaf Connect's marketing, communications, fundraising and sales initiatives. Working within our Contact Centre team, you'll engage with customers over the phone, promote lottery ticket sales, build positive relationships and contribute to achieving team performance goals.

Main responsibilities of the role include: 

  • Conducting phone-based sales, promotions, fundraising and customer engagement activities.
  • Delivering high-quality customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Maintaining accurate records, using contact centre systems and resolving customer enquiries in line with established processes.
  • Supporting continuous improvement and working collaboratively within the Contact Centre team.
  • Undertaking other duties as required by the Team Leader and Manager.

About you:

  • Working accurately with systems and business processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy and keyboard skills.
  • Working effectively within a collaborative team environment.

You should also let us know if you have these other great skills: 

  • Experience in a contact centre environment.
  • Experience in the community or not-for-profit sector.
  • Auslan skills or a willingness to learn.
