Deaf Connect is excited to recruit a newly established Manager – Early Intervention position as part of our evolving Therapy and Family Services structure.

About the role
Reporting to the General Manager, Therapy and Family Services, you'll lead the operational delivery of Early Intervention services, including Healthy Hearing and NDIS-funded programs.
As part of a new leadership structure, this newly created role will play a key role in strengthening service delivery, improving access for children and families, and supporting the continued growth and development of Early Intervention services across Deaf Connect.
Working closely with the Clinical Lead and Lead Support Planner, you'll ensure services are accessible, responsive and sustainable, while leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the delivery and performance of Early Intervention services across multiple funding streams.
- Manage and support multidisciplinary teams to achieve service and client outcomes.
- Monitor service demand, waitlists, workforce utilisation and operational performance.
- Drive service improvements that enhance access, efficiency and client experience.
- Build strong relationships with families, schools, government agencies and community partners.
- Lead operational risk, compliance and service quality initiatives.
- Contribute to service development, innovation and future growth opportunities.
About you:
You're a people-focused leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality services for children and families. You enjoy leading teams, driving continuous improvement and building strong relationships with staff, families and stakeholders.
To be successful, you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Community Services, Allied Health, Disability Services or a related field.
- Experience managing programs, services or multidisciplinary teams within community, health, disability or early intervention settings.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including leading teams through change and fostering a positive, accountable team culture.
- Strong understanding of NDIS and/or government-funded service environments.
- Proven ability to manage service performance, workforce utilisation and operational outcomes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Experience driving service improvements and responding to changing client, workforce or funding needs.
It would be great if you also bring:
- Experience leading service growth, program development or improvement initiatives
- Understanding of Deaf culture, Auslan and culturally responsive practice
