Deaf Connect is excited to recruit a newly established Manager – Programs and Partnerships position as part of our evolving Therapy and Family Services structure.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced leader to oversee a diverse portfolio of programs, build strategic partnerships and drive service excellence across multiple funding streams and locations.

About the role
Reporting to the General Manager, Therapy and Family Services, you'll lead the operational delivery and performance of a diverse portfolio of programs, including school-based services, family support programs and NDIS-funded services across multiple jurisdictions.
As part of a new leadership structure, this newly created role will play a key role in strengthening service delivery, building strategic partnerships and supporting the continued growth and sustainability of Therapy and Family Services.
Working closely with the Clinical Lead and Lead Support Planner, you'll ensure services are responsive, efficient and aligned to the needs of children, families, communities and funding bodies.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the delivery and performance of programs across multiple service areas, locations and funding streams.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams, supporting workforce performance, engagement and service outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with schools, government agencies, community organisations and families.
- Monitor program performance, contracts and funding requirements to ensure quality service delivery and compliance.
- Drive service improvements, innovation and growth opportunities across programs.
- Oversee service coordination, workforce utilisation and client access to services. Contribute to the development of new programs, partnerships and service opportunities.
About you:
You're a strategic and collaborative leader who enjoys building high-performing teams, developing partnerships and delivering services that make a real difference.
You thrive in complex service environments, balancing operational performance with stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement.
To be successful, you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Community Services, Allied Health, Social Services or a related field.
- Experience managing programs or services across complex or multi-stream environments.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and driving service performance.
- Strong understanding of NDIS and/or government-funded programs.
- Experience managing contracts, reporting requirements and funding agreements.
- Demonstrated leadership capability, including leading teams through change and fostering accountability.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
It would be great if you also bring:
- Experience working across school, community and government-funded service environments.
- Experience with DEX reporting and contract management requirements.
- Understanding of Deaf culture, Auslan and culturally responsive practice
