About the role:
The Coordinator, Scheduling is responsible for planning and coordinating the delivery workforce across education programs within our Registered Training Organisation (RTO). You will make sure the right people are scheduled at the right time, while keeping our rostering compliant and running smoothly.
Working closely with the Team Leader, Scheduling, you will support the Scheduling team, improve processes, and work closely with leaders to manage risks and ensure high-quality program delivery.
Our hybrid working model supports balance, with core in-office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and flexibility to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Plan and manage program schedules and workforce allocation
- Allocate trainers, assessors and tutors to classes and tasks
- Monitor scheduling risks and ensure compliance requirements are met
- Support and guide Scheduling Administration Officers
- Maintain accurate data across systems and tools
- Prepare reports and payment summaries for the workforce
- Contribute to improving scheduling processes and systems

- Strong skills in systems (e.g. scheduling tools, Excel, Microsoft Office)
- Excellent organisation, time management, and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Great communication and teamwork skills

- Experience in the VET or education sector
- Understanding of compliance (e.g. RTO/ASQA standards)
- Auslan skills or knowledge of the Deaf community
